About the place:
Here we cover the beaches to the Hills of Coastal Karnataka that
is from Karwar to Koorg or Chikkamagaloor. In Koorg &
Chikkamagaloor we will be hosting the Couple in the plantation
resort. The hospitality here offers an experience with out giving
up the comforts of the modern living in the middle of the
plantation or the Forest. The morning can be spent following the
nature trail or watching the birds. The best way to explore the
coffee country would be to take a random stroll in the wilderness.
Also you can choose some out door activity or sightseeing in one
of the days. You can either visit Soans Botanical Garden which has
been featured as "Farm of Fame" in the news. Visit to the
plantation invites you to witness life in the farm & to interact
with farmers as they go about their daily life--
-- OR -- Visit to Nagarahole National Park. It has one of the
finest wild life reserves in the world Or you can visit Tala
Cauvery ---
---OR---Make a full day excursion to Ancient Ruins of The lost
city of the pepper Queen. This is an Island, which was the Capital
of the Queen who ruled in 18th century. She was known as Pepper
Queen because she had a great source of Spice especially Pepper &
was trading all over Europe. Many kings including Portuguese tried
to defeat her. Because of the locational advantage of their
capital, they could not defeat her. You will get the trill of your
life boating against the current.
---OR--You can choose to visit the temples such as Dharmastala,
Kukke Subramanya (not for option II & III,) Kollur Mookambika,
Murudeshwara (. In Kundapur, you will be hosted in the 2 star
category Hotel.) If you are adventurous couple, you can opt for a
days trekking to waterfalls in the Western Ghats.
Lastly we will either transfer you to an Island or to a beach
resort. In Island you will be staying in the Luxury tented
cottages with rustic ambience. Here we have created all the resort
facility in semi permanent structure. (Permanent structure is not
possible because of Coastal Regulatory Zone -CRZ)
You can enjoy the private beach to swim & soke in the tropical Sun
or the tidal pool.
-Follow the picturesque nature trail on the Island
-Snorkling subjected to weather conditions
-Boat rides & picnics at the sea to view the neighboring Islands.
If you are lucky, you can sight Dolphin & Otters ****The cost of
the Boat ride will be extra.
The beach resort we have mentioned in Option II is on the Main
land next to Maravanthe Sea. Here we have permanent & Semi
Permanent structure such as Cottages & Cabanas.
Option I:
Day 1
Arrive at Kundapur railway station . Day at leisure. Evening
go for Backwater Boating. Return to the Hotel for the night.
Day 2 & 3
Jeep Safari to Western Ghats. Start by 11.00 a.m. Proceed to
Anejeri wild life camp for Lunch. After Lunch, board 4 wheel drive
vehicle for a magnificent drive in to the Kotachadri Hills. We
seem to be reaching for the clouds as we travel the high mountain
trails. Enroute visit Bubbling pond. This is the pond that
responds to Sound. If you clap, the pond starts bubbling. Stay
over night in the nature. This evening you can enjoy solitude
under the Stars. Morning free. The couple can follow the Nature
trails, or just explore the nature by them self. Back to Kundapur
for lunch. Free. Please note that on the second night the stay
will be in the forest guesthouse on the hill. There is no luxury.
Day 4
A full day excursion to "Ancient Ruins of the Lost City of the
Pepper Queen". This Island was the Kingdom of the Queen who was
known all over Europe for Pepper & Forest Products in 17th
Century. Night Stay in the Island Resort in the Luxury Tents.
Day 5,6,7
Enjoy your stay in the Island. After the 4 days of sight seeing,
the couple is just left for them self. There is ample scope for
Dolphin sighting, Nature Trails, catch fish or can make use of the
pvt, beach.
Day 8
Transfer to the Railway station. Please note that the transfer
will be to the nearest Railway station. If the Couple wants drop
to Goa, they will have to pay extra for the transfer.

Option II:
Day 1
Arrive at Kundapur railway station. Day at leisure. Evening go for
Backwater Boating. Return to the Hotel for the night.
Day 2
Transfer to Plantation Resort. It is a perfect place to leave
behind the busy City Life. The Resort is situated 1600 mtrs from
the Sea level. Your host will drive you in a 4-wheel drive vehicle
through the Coffee plantation to the resort. It is a perfect place
for Bird watchers, Nature lovers & of course Honey Mooners.
Day 3
Morning at Leisure. Visit to Nagarahole National Park. It has one
of the finest wild life reserves in the world Or you can visit
Tala Cauvery.
Day 4
Leisure at the Resort.
Day 5
Before heading to Kundapur, you can visit Dharmastala Temple or
Kukke Subryamanya Temple the main temple for lord Naga. This is
optional. Enroute you can opt for a visit to Soans Botanical
Garden which has been featured as "Farm of Fame" in the news.
Visit to the plantation invites you to witness life in the farm &
to interact with farmers as they go about their daily life. Have
lunch at farm. Either you can stay overnight at Soans Farm or head
back to Kundapur for the night.
Day 6, 7
Transfer to Beach Resort with white sandy beaches & abundant
attractions.
Day 8
Transfer to The railway station.

Option III:
Day 1
Transfer to the Island resort from Ankola Railway station (if you
are coming by Rajadhani Express). Last boat to the Island is at
05.00 p.m.
Day 2 & 3
Spend at the Island.
Day 4

Day 5
Transfer to Plantation Resort. It is a perfect place to leave

for Bird watchers, Nature lovers & of course Honey Mooners.
Day 6

Transfer to the Mangalore Railway station after Breakfast or
