Day 1
Chennai
Arrive in Madras and transfer to your hotel. Afternoon tour of the
city. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 2 Chennai - Mahabalipuram
Morning drive to Mahabalipuram, with check in at the hotel on
arrival. In the afternoon, visit Mahabalipuram. Overnight at the
hotel.
Day 3 Mahabalipuram - Pondicherry
Drive to Pondicherry. On arrival, check in at the hotel. In the
afternoon visit Auroville and Sri Aurobindo Ashram. Overnight at
the hotel.
Day 4 Pondicherry - Tanjore
Drive to Pondicherry, stopping off to visit Gangai Konda,
Cholapuram and Darasuram en route. On arrival, check in to the
hotel. In the afternoon, visit Tanjore temples. Overnight at the
hotel.
Day 5 Tanjore - Trichy
Drive to Trichy, visiting Sri Rangam on the way. On arrival, check
in to the hotel. In the afternoon, visit Rock Fort Temple.
Day 6 Trichy - Madurai
Drive to Madurai. On arrival, check in to the hotel. In the
afternoon, visit the Meenakshi Temple and Tirumalai Naicker
Palace. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 7 Madurai
Full day excursion to Rameswaram. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 8 Madurai - Periyar
Drive to Periyar. On arrival, check in to the hotel. In the
afternoon, enjoy a boat ride on the lake to see the animals in the
Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary at close quarters. Overnight at the
hotel.
Day 9 Periyar - Kumarakom
Take a morning boat ride on the lake, before the drive to
Kumarakom. On arrival, check in to the hotel. The rest of the day
can be spent at leisure. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 10 Kumarakom - Cochin
Drive to Cochin, On arrival, check in to the hotel. In the
afternoon enjoy the tour of the city, taking in all the major
sights and attractions. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 11 Cochin - Kovalam
Following a leisurely morning cruise through the backwaters, drive
to Kovalam. On arrival check in to the hotel. Overnight at the
hotel.
Day 12 Kovalam - Cape Comorin - Kovalam
A full-day excursion to Cape Comorin (Kanyakumari), visiting
Padmanabhapuram Palace and the Sucheendram Temple en route.
Overnight at the hotel.
Day 13 Kovalam - Thiruvananthapuram/ Mumbai or Chennai
Transfer to the airport, with assistance, for your onward flight
to Mumbai or Madras with connections to your international flight.
