Itinery:

This Itinerary is recommended for FIT's who are medium riders. This itinerary affords an opportunity to riders to ride for approximately 3-4 hours a day, keeping the evenings free to visit places of Historical Interest.

Noon. Arrival ex- Jodhpur (140kms) ex-Udaipur (130kms), at Kotri Rawla for lunch. (Transfer to be affected by yourselves) Kotri Rawla is an ancient 200yr old castle in the middle of a small rustic shepherd village. The castle is replete with all modern amenities. PM : Ride out via Nadol to try the horses and return (10km). Overnight at Kotri Rawla.

Ride out past farmland and villages to Narlai (12kms) Lunch. PM : Visit the Temples and climb the massive granite rock to the temples atop. Overnight at Rawla Narlai a Classic Heritage Hotel.

AM : Ride out through open rocky country, farms and villages to Muthana Lake (15kms) Riders if they desire may continue to Ranakpur (10kms) on or take the jeep. Lunch at Maharani Bagh. PM : Drive by jeep (4 kms) to visit the famous Ranakpur Jain Temples. Overnight Maharani Bagh, a heritage resort of the Maharaja of Jodhpur.

AM : Ride along the Aravali Ranges, past woods and through tribal villages to Ghanerao (15kms) Lunch. PM : Visit the village and its craftsmen, the stepwells, cenotaphs etc. Overnight at Castle Ghanerao. This is an architectural masterpiece built from 1606, and is home to the Thakur of Ghanerao who will be your host.

AM : Ride into the Kumbalgarh Sanctuary and up a rocky trail to reach Khumbalgarh at 3,200ft. (18kms). This ride is recommended if riders are experienced and physically fit. Otherwise we have an option of a 12km ride to the road where they will transfer to a taxi to drive along a picturesque route (1hr) to Khumbhalgarh. PM : Visit the famous 15th century Kumbalgarh Fort with its massive walls. Overnight at "The Aodhi", a property of the HRH group of hotels.
