Day 01 Mumbai/Shirdi
Pick up from Mumbai
/Station/Airport /Hotel /residence . Chauffeur will drive to
Shirdi (238 kms/06 kms) Arrive Shirdi and check – in at hotel.
Later visit Sai Baba Temple. Overnight at hotel.
Day 02 Shirdi/Aurangabad
Morning drive to Aurangabad (130 kms/03 hrs) Arrive Aurangabad
and check – in at hotel. Aurangabad, takes its name from the
Mughal emperor Aurangzeb. Though it is fast developing into an
industrial town, a large number of visitors to it are tourists
headed for the world famous Ajanta caves which lie about 30 kms
and 196 kms from the town respectively. Before moving on to Ellora
& Ajanta caves, there are some interesting sights worth seeing
close to the town. Aurangabad caves are caves of Buddhist origin 7
kms away. The Bibi ka Maqbara, 5 kms, is a mausoleum built between
1657 and 1661 by Aurangzeb for his wife Dilras Banu begum.
Panchakki is a 17th century water mill where water
energy was used to turn huge grinding stones to grind wheat into
flour. Nearby is the Tomb of Baba Shah Musafir.
Afternoon excursion to Ellora Caves
which encompass 34 rock cut shrines representing Buddhist, Hindu
and Jain art dating from the 4thto 9th century A.D. The
most remarkable among them is the Kailash Temple, meant to be a
replica of Lord Shivas celestial abode, Kailash. It is the best
example of Rock cut architecture and engineering marvel. Overnight
at hotel.
Day
03 Aurangabad
Full day excursion to
Ajanta Caves dating back to the 2nd century BC. The 30
rock hewn caves are adorned with Buddhist sculpture and frescoes
portray in epic form the religious and secular life through eight
centuries. Overnight at hotel.
Day 04 Aurangabad/Pune
Morning drive to Pune (226 kms/06
hrs) Arrive Pune and check – in at hotel. Afternoon sightseeing
tour of Pune. Overnight at hotel.
Day 05 Pune/Chiplun
Morning drive to Chiplun (186 kms/05 hrs) Arrive Chiplun and
check – in at hotel. Day free for independent activities.
Overnight at hotel.
Day 06 Chiplun/Goa
Morning drive to Goa (286 kms/07 hrs) Arrive Goa and check –
in at hotel. Goa is where the water-babies thrive. It is the most
preferred beach destination in India and for many good reasons.
Beautiful sandy beaches, a delightful laissez faire attitude,
quaint homes and old churches in the Portuguese tradition, lovely
countryside, abundant seafood, plenty of accommodation in all

Day 07 Goa
Morning sightseeing tour of Old Goa
starting from the slopes of Althino hill for a breath taking view
of Panjim and river Mandovi. Then visit Dona Paulo for a view of
India’s largest natural harbour Marmgao. Also visit Old Goa
visiting Basillica of Bom Jesus wherein is enshrined the body of
Saint Francis Xavier in a silver casket. Then visit Saint
Cathedral, the biggest church in the East. Saint Cajetan built
like Saint Peter’s
church
of Lady Rosery and Saint Monica.
Day free to stroll along the beach. Overnight at hotel.
Day 08 Goa
Day free for independent activities. Overnight at hotel.
Day 09 Goa
Day free for independent activities. Overnight at hotel.
Day 10 Goa
In time transfer to airport to board flight/Train for Onward
destinations .
