More
information about the trip
These "Exploration Tours" are real adventures meant for the
experienced bikers, preferably those with some Enfield and Asia
motor biking background.
After a warming
up ride around the
Corbett
National Park
from where this adventure kicks off, the tour officially starts at
Mahendranagar, 80 km from the Indo Nepal border. The fourth day
finds you heading on your bikes for the Royal Bardia National
Park, where you camp at the Karnali safari camp, indulging in some
elephant rides and wildlife spotting.
Ride the
Nepal highways on the way to the scenic Tansen hill station,
covering a cool 350 km on the sixth day, stopping for dinner at
the famous ethnic Naglo restaurant. The seventh day finds you
cruising along the Siddhata highway to Pokhara, 140 km away. Hug
the mountain curves and soak in the breathtaking views as you pass
Gorkha, as you proceed to the fascinating Nepalese capital,
Kathmandu.
Begin the
ascent as you go through Barabise and Charikote and spend an
invigorating night in tents at 2350 m ! Cross the border into
eastern India again and enter the mysterious land of Bagdogra and
Kalimpong, visit the famous Rumtek monastery, indulge in treks
through the mountainous land of Sikkim before you ride into the
hilly lands of tea country,
Darjeeling!
A thoughtful two days are added into the itinerary for shopping
and sightseeing around the national capital, Delhi, before the
dream ends…
