More
information about the trip
Experience the scenic romantic fall season at the incomparable,
impressive Himalayan landscapes. A feast for the eyes and a
bonanza for your camera. Parts of the tour highlights include a
glimpse into old cultures, living history and stays in historic
palace hotels at several locations. This tour does not encompass
the deserted high mountainous region of the Greater Himalaya
range. Throughout, the biker remains under 4000 m, within the
green foothills of the mighty mountains (…although even here, some
valleys are over 3000 m high, with surrounding mountain peaks of
over 6000 m).
Expect an adventure at every corner of the winding
roads. While soaking in the golden weather of the Himalayas, cross
the Jalorie pass to climb up to the Sangla valley and the Rohtang
pass, with 3,980 meters, the highest point on this tour. This tour
is adjusted for dry, cool fall weather, with more overnight stays
at hotels and no camping above 3,000 meters. A tour for everyone
who loves adventures, motorbikes and trekking, but with less
strain. Also ideal for less skilled bikers. We guarantee extreme
motorcycling joy on quiet high mountain roads and tracks, lovely
nights at the campfire and a little bit splendor of the colonial
era. The accommodation ranges from tent camps to luxury hotels.
The tour is also feasible with pillion riders, except for some
passes, where it is indeed recommended that passengers change to
the accompanying jeep.

Since the character of our Bike and Jeep Tours is similar to
expeditions, only the outer frame of the itinerary, that is, the
dates of arrival and departure, can be exactly fixed. Due to our
concept of touring with our own road and camp crew, we are almost
independent and largely flexible, prepared to manage unpredictable
storms, landslides and other natural calamities, which can force
us to change our itineraries often.
