Day 1
On arrival at Kochi International Airport you will be driven to Munnar where you will check into your hotel.
Day 2
In the morning you will set off bright and early for a full-day sightseeing tour of Munnar stopping at various tea plantations and scenic locations along the way. You can spend the remainder of the afternoon relaxing at your hotel.
Day 3
In the morning you will be driven to Thekkady where you will check into your hotel. The rest of the day is yours to do with as you please.
Day 4
In the morning take a boat ride on Periyar Lake (optional tour) - you may see the wild animals that roam freely here at close quarters. Spend the rest of the day at leisure. Perhaps go trekking or visit the spice plantations.
Day 5
Enjoy a lie-in before your late morning drive to Kumarakom where you will check into your resort. Spend the rest of the day exploring the backwaters and enjoying the regions breathtaking scenery.
Day 6
Spend the day at leisure. You may wish to visit the Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary, home to hundreds of rare species of birds or enjoy a relaxing Ayurvedic massage (optional). You can be entertained in the evening with a cultural performance.
Day 7
Today you will board a houseboat for a scenic cruise along the backwaters. A traditional Kerala feast will be served in the evening; you will then stay on board (in cabin accommodation) overnight.
Day 8
Transfer to Kochi International Airport to catch your flight back to your final destination.
