Sai Baba was not only a great saint but “God incarnate” himself in the eyes of the millions of devotees of different cast, creed and also religion. His first visit to Shirdi, a small village was anonymous but he was noticed meditating under a neem tree on the outskirts of Shirdi. For the second time he was seen at a wedding in which he was incidentally the guest of honor. Sai Baba graced the village of Shirdi by spending his physical life from 1858 to 1918 and the remaining elders of this village vividly recall the miraculous wonders of this saint.

Shri Sai Baba’s Samadhi Temple houses his mortal remains, which were buried at this place. This is where Baba is said to have taken a Samadhi. It now contains a beautiful Idol and an enclosure displaying the various articles used by the Baba.
