The trek, which starts from Bageshwar crosses the Dhakuri pass to reach Khati. From here the route goes to Sunderdhunga from where one can reach the Baluni peak by crossing the Baluni Valley. There is a thrilling view of the Kafni glacier from Baluni, from where one can also reach the Sukhram glacier.

Bageshwar (467 kms) Overnight stay at Bageshwar.

Bageshwar - Song - Loharkhet (5750 ft) 40 kms by bus to Song. A 5 kms trek to Loharkhet. Overnight stay at Loharkhet.

Loharkhet - Khati (2210 M) A 19 kms trek. Khati is the biggest village enroute Pindari. The trek to Khati descends down to Umla village (4 kms) Khati village lies at the confluence of Pindari and Sundardhunga rivers. Overnight stay at Khati.

Khati-Jatloli (2500 M) 8 kms trek. Overnight in tents. Trek to Jatoli descends 3 kms and leads to an easy climb of 4 kms upto Jatoli, Camp may be pitched in Dugiadhong 3 kms ahead of Jatoli (subject to weather condition). Overnight stay at Jatoli in tents.

Jatoli-Kathalia (328 mts.) Distance 12 kms. Overnight in tents. First part of the trek goes through thick forest, the second part has beautiful alpine meadows with snow bridges over the Sunderdhunga river. Kathalia is an open grazing ground with a few guzzer tents. Overnight stay in Kathalia.

Khatalia view point (Sunderdhunga Glacier (3658 M) After a 7kms trek, see the glacier of Sunderdhunga (Sukhram). Literally the Sunderdhunga means the valley of beautiful stones. This valley is situated to the west of Pindari Valley to the west of Pindari Valley and has two glaciers - Maiktoli and Sukhram. Return of Khatalia. Overnight stay at tents.

Khatalia - Jatoli (2500 M) 12 kms. Overnight stay at tents in Jatoli.

Jatoli - Dhakuri (2690 M) 16 kms. Overnight stay at Dhakuri.

Dhakuri - Bageshwar (56 kms) A 16 kms trek to Song and 40 kms by bus to Bageshwar. Overnight stay at Bageshwar TRH. Bageshwar - Delhi (467 kms). After breakfast departure.
