Langtangchu Campsite to Zalung Karpo-La (5200 M) - Campsite 7 to 8
hours. Upto Zalung Karpo-la (5200 M), the descent to the west
ridge towards 2nd pass with fluttering flags, go on descending on
a steep rocky slope until you reach a beautiful valley, turning to
your left (west side). Reach on a grassy flat area for camping
after crossing a gorge. |

Zalung
karpo-La to Tulit Sumdo (3750 M) 5 to 6 hours. Start descending
from the camp towards the main stream, after one hour arrive at a
valley, which comes from the right and goes upto Ruering-la (5000
M). Follow left/right bank for another half a km in a gorge, by
crossing stream several times, then leave behind this stream on
right, follow the rough stony trail (this is a little difficult
for horses), crossing of river arrive at Tulit Sumdo (3750 M). |

Tulit
Sumbdo to North Camp at (4450 M) of the Chercher-La (4950 M) Just
after Tulit Sumdo, cross Khurna river, continue on the right bank
for one and a half hours, pass a valley (3 hours), again pass 3rd
valley on the right (31/2 Hours). It is 4000 metres, good camping
site. Now the valley is narrow and crossing the river is easy.
Decent the slopes on right bank, after half an hour, arrive at a
strand with stones (by this time you have already trekked for 6
hours). It is the meeting point of 2 streams, follow left stream
on the left bank, for another one and a half hours arrive at the
campsite (94450 M), little up left bank on a flat land. |

Chercher-La to Zangla Sumdo (3800 M) Descent upto the stream, pass
through several gorges, unsaddled horses several times. Leaving
behind the stream after the 3rd narrow gorge, go up a gentle
slope, arrive at Chercher-la (4950 M) (2 and a half-hours).
Descend the pass and going along the stream, Zangla Sumdo (3800 M)
is reached. |

Zangla
Sumdo to Zangla 4 hours Going down along the river by changing the
trail on left, right, left right, trail opens out in a valley, goo
on right following the stream. Now gradually up, upto Zangla
Castle, further half an hour is Zangla Village. |
