Drive from Manali to Jispa/Darcha (93,360 metres) Across Rohtang Pass (3,980 metres) which is the gateway to Lahaul, Spiti, Pangi & Zanskar valleys. Eight hours drive through Lahaul valley.

Darcha to Chhalang Topko (3,580 meters). Through two villages on the way - 5 hours walk.

Chhalang Topko - Zanskar Sumdo - Ramjak (3,750 meters). Six hours walk.

Trek to Chhumikanakpo (4,060 metres) 6 hrs. Walk towards the stream flowing from Shingo - la.

To Lakong across Shingo-la pass (5,100 meters). Eight hours walk.

To Kargyak (4,060 meters). The first village in the Zanskar region.

From Kargyak to Kuru/Teta (3,950 meters). A land of Gompas.

Trek to Kalbok/Purne (3,700 meters). Here one can visit Fuktal Monastery built under a huge cave.

Trek to Mone to Padam (3,560 meters) Sub - divisional Head Quarter of Kargil district of Jammu and Kashmir. Visit Bardan Gompas, one of the oldest Gompas in the region.
