In the valleys of Kullu and Manali below Chanderkhani Pass, situated at an altitude of 2652 meters above sea level, is a little hub of a hundred houses. The kind of village that can be found all over the valleys. Yet there is something special about this cluster of stone roofs. This is Malana or, as the village is popularly known in the Kullu valley, the republic of Malana.
The village, which consists of a 1000 tribals, has an immaculate system of self-governance with its own lower and higher court, President and Prime Minister. They are a unique tribe with unique customs who live in a world of self-created autonomy amidst the greater Himalayas and claim a Greek descent.

Leave for Kullu at approx. 19:00 hrs. by private bus from Delhi. Have dinner on the way.

Reach Kullu at approx. 11:00 hrs., wash up, have lunch, leave for base village 'Jari' by private vehicle. Trek for a couple hours and set camp for the night. Relax and clean-up while the dinner is being cooked.

Reach Malana by late morning, approx. 11:00 hrs., after trekking for approx. 3 hrs. from your last camping spot. Set up camp here and spend the night there.

Leave for 'Jari' in the early morning. Reach the vehicles at 'Jari' by approx. 13:30 hrs., have lunch at Kullu and continue to Manali. Check-in to the hotel and time to explore the picturesque hill station.

Day in Manali... sight-seeing to Naggar, Solang and also visit Rohtang Pass. Night stay in Manali.

Catch a bus for Delhi by approx. 17:00 hrs. Dinner on the way.

Reach Delhi at approx. 09:00 hrs.
