Kanha,
located in central India, is reputed to be Asia's
best-administered National Park with 1,945 sq. kms of jungle
splendor. Kanha National Park came into being in 1955 and is the
habitat for the endangered Tiger and Barasingha. The park has 24
species of mammals, over 320 species of birds and some rare flora
and fauna. Sal and bamboo forests, rolling grasslands and
meandering streams stretch over the park, which has elevations
ranging from 1,480 feet to 2,950 feet. Two major rivers, the
Banjar and Halon flow through the park. |

will be greeted by our representative at the airport in Delhi and
driven to Hotel. |

After
breakfast, Three hours of sightseeing in Dehli. Evening departure
towards Siliserh. We will spend the night in an idyllic summer
palace on the shore of a lake in the Aravalli Mountains. |

Early
morning visit to the National Park, which is populated with wild
animals. Midday departure for Bharatpur. Arrive in the evening
accommodations at an RTDC Hotel. |

Visit
Keoladeo National Park, refuge to 350 species of birds among them
a number of water fowl, with a boat ride throughout it's green
swamps. |

Early
morning departure towards Sawai Madhopur on the way visit the
famous Taj Mahal Lodging in RTDC Hotel. |

|

Visit
Ranthambore Wildlife Sanctuary. Full Day Trip. |

After
lunch,start towards Jaipur. Accommodation at RTDC Hotel. |

Journey through the Pink City of Jaipur, visit the famous Palace
of Winds and take an elephant ride to the Amber Fortress. Early
evening we will take the first class train to Jaisalmer. |

Early
arrival in Jaisalmer. Accommodation in a decent hotel. Guided tour
of the Golden City. View the sunset from Lake Gadisar. |
|
|
|
|
 
Departure for base camp. Trek by camel into the giant sand dunes
of the Thar Desert and catch glimpses of the wildlife.
There is also a great opportunity to come in close contact with
the people living here. To view a lifestyle unchanged by the
passing centuries. |

Depart
for Jodhpur to travel first class by train to Delhi. |
|
|
|
|
 
Early
morning arrival in Delhi. Half day sightseeing before departing
for the airport. |
